Imunify Antivirus

ImunifyAV is a security solution from CloudLinux that scans web servers for viruses and malware. This feature installs the ImunifyAV/Imunify360 management interface on a website so you can use it from your browser.

Requirements

  • The server has one of the following applications installed from the Apps page:
    • ImunifyAV: free, virus scanning only.
    • Imunify360: full security suite, paid.
  • A new website dedicated to the Imunify interface (for example imunify.domain.com). The website's existing source code will be overwritten.

Installation

  1. Go to the server's Apps page, find and install ImunifyAV or Imunify360. Wait for the installation to finish.
  2. Create a new website, then click the website name in the list to open its management page.
  3. Click the Install Source Code menu, then click the ImunifyAV icon.
  4. Read the warning, check Yes, Do it!, then click Install ImunifyAV.

When it finishes, open the website to access the Imunify Antivirus interface.

TIP

Install SSL on the website before logging in so your credentials are encrypted.

Usage

Log in with the name and password of a Linux user on the server, for example root or the default user flashpanel.

See the list of Linux users on the server's System Users page. If you forgot a password, click the edit button of that user, enter a New Password (optional) and save to reset it.

Uninstall

  1. Click the website's Home menu.
  2. In the Danger Zone group, click Remove Code.
  3. Check Restore default page? to remove the Imunify interface from the website and return it to the default page.
  4. Check Yes, Do it!, then click Remove Code.

Removing the interface from the website does not uninstall ImunifyAV/Imunify360 from the server. To remove it completely, uninstall the application from the Apps page.

Notes

  • If neither ImunifyAV nor Imunify360 is installed, the installation fails with an error.
  • Anyone who knows the website address can open the login page. Use strong passwords for your Linux users.
