Uptime Kuma
Uptime Kuma is an open source application that monitors the uptime of websites, services and servers, and can send alerts via Telegram, Email, Slack, Webhooks and more. FlashPanel installs Uptime Kuma as a standalone website on your server.
Requirements
- The server must be on a paid plan. The Uptime Kuma item shows a lock icon if the server has not been upgraded.
- A new website dedicated to Uptime Kuma (for example
status.domain.com). The website's existing source code will be overwritten. - A free port for Uptime Kuma. It must not be the Proxy Port of another website on the server and cannot be
80,443or2022.
FlashPanel installs Node.js for Uptime Kuma automatically; you do not need to install it beforehand.
Installation
- Create a new website, then click the website name in the list to open its management page.
- Click the Install Source Code menu, then click the Uptime Kuma icon.
- Enter the Port Uptime Kuma will run on (default
3001). FlashPanel sets the website's Proxy Port to this port. - Read the warning, check Yes, Do it!, then click Install Uptime Kuma.
Follow the installation progress in the website's Events menu. When it finishes, open the website and create an admin account on the first setup screen.
TIP
Install SSL on the website to access Uptime Kuma over HTTPS.
Management
Click the website's Home menu. The Action table at the top of the page has a restart button (note Restart uptime_kuma) to restart Uptime Kuma when it stops responding.
Monitors, alerts and accounts are managed directly in the Uptime Kuma interface.
Uninstall
- Click the website's Home menu.
- In the Danger Zone group, click Remove Code.
- Check Restore default page? if you want to delete all Uptime Kuma files and return the website to the default page.
- Check Yes, Do it!, then click Remove Code.
Uptime Kuma is stopped. You can then install another source code on the website or delete the website.
Notes
- Monitoring data is stored in the website's directory. If you select Restore default page? when uninstalling, this data is deleted.
- Each website can only have one source code. After Uptime Kuma is installed, the Install Source Code menu is hidden until you uninstall it.
