Website Supervisor
Overview
The website's Supervisor page keeps long-running processes up for that website only, for example a Laravel queue worker (php artisan queue:work). Supervisor restarts a process when it stops unexpectedly.
Unlike the server Supervisor, you do not pick a User or a Directory:
- Processes always run as the website's owner (for example
flashpanel). - Processes run inside the website's directory (for example
/home/flashpanel/example.com), so commands can use relative paths. - When you change the owner or rename the website, FlashPanel reinstalls its processes for the new user and directory and restarts them.
Create a process
- Open the website and click Supervisor in the menu.
- Click Create Supervisor.
- Fill in:
- Description (Optional): a short description of the process.
- Command: the command to run, for example
php artisan queue:work. - User and Directory: show the website's user and directory and cannot be changed.
- Number Processes: how many copies of the process run in parallel, from 1 to 100.
- Start Seconds: how many seconds a process must stay up to count as started.
- Click Save.
Manage processes
The Status column, the Start, Stop, Restart and Show Log buttons and the ⋮ menu (Edit, Clone, Clear Log, Delete) work the same as on the server Supervisor page.
Notes
- Note: Website processes also appear on the server's Supervisor page, with a Site column. Click the website name to open its Supervisor page.
- Note: Deleting the website also stops and deletes its processes.
- The log of a website process is stored in
/root/.flashpanel/daemon-<ID>.log. Read it with Show Log. - An alias website shares the main website's directory, so it has no Supervisor menu; create the process on the main website.
